He was born on April 2, 1965 in Sacramento, California. He was caught by the Los Anfeles police after a high speed chase on March 3, 1991. The officer then proceded t pull him out the car and beat him brutally, in all that time a  amature cameraman George Holliday caught it all on videotape. the pfficer were indicted on chargers of assult with a deadly weapon and excessive use of police force. After a three-month trial by a predominantly white jury acquitted the officers and causing a spark that lit the flame in the citizens. Eventualy leading up to The L.A. Riots

In doing so he becacme the first black president of South Africa in 1994, serving until 1999. He also was a symbol of global peace making that he also won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993.

 Hoodies cost anywhere from 10-100$ varying on the quality.
At the time, hoodies had been worn by workers to keep away from the rain but they started becoming popular with the hip-hop or the grundge subcultures.
The term "Hoodie" wasn't around until late 80's early 90's

Pop Culture of the 90's 2 Nirvana SMELLS LIKE TEEN SPIRIT

         Smells Like Teen Spirit was basically Kurt Cobain's sardonic veiw of teenagers.

 He wrote this song because he wanted to make a song that sounded a lot like one of his favorite bands that he looked up to.

This song won two MTV music video awards and later became interpretated as a teen revolution anthem.

Pop Culture of the 90's 1 FRESH PRINCE OF BEL-AIR

        The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air was about a young Africain-American man that was caught by his mom getting into a fight at the local basketball park. He was then forced to go move to Bel-Air with the rich side of his family.
